We are a small, private barn specializing in beginner to intermediate riding. Our main instructor has competed to Jumpers 3'6", is a CHA English Level 3 certified coach, a licensed coach with Equestrian Canada and has a Masters Degree in Special Education. Our experience has taken us to island shows as far north as Courtenay and to Thunderbird on the mainland. We have experience in:

Horse-Riding Camps: Join us for a week of discovery, learning and unforgettable memories at our Horse-Riding Camp. Whether you’re taking your first steps into the world of horseback riding or looking to deepen your understanding and skills, our camps are offered during typical school breaks. This week-long day camp is set in the tranquil forest surroundings of Lohaz Stables, near Prospect Lake. This is an opportunity to deeply connect with horses in a relaxing environment, learning not only how to ride but also about comprehensive horse management. Our unique approach includes engaging with horses in a herd environment, allowing them to live as closely to their natural state as possible, enriching your understanding and experience. Running from 9 am to 3 pm daily, the camp is priced at $550 + GST.
*In camps, students are guaranteed to have an adult coach with a minimum of CHA English Level 3. They will NOT be taught by or left with uncertified teenagers.*
